Carlson BCM is authored, registered intellectual property. It is applied under engagement, led by its author, or licensed under agreement.
A strategy arrives from the board or a strategy firm. Carlson BCM translates it into a form the enterprise can execute: the abilities that must change, the operating context they run in and the technology they require. Execution risk is retired before the program is funded, and advisory oversight continues through implementation.
Leadership of the transformation itself. Where Carlson BCM assets already cover the scope, they are applied directly. Where they do not, the model is extended for the program, at a fraction of the cost and time of building one from nothing. It remains when the program ends: an enduring asset, as valuable as the outcome it specified.
Training for the enterprise’s own teams, and the design of a center of excellence that carries the discipline forward: the competency to model, measure and resolve work against ability without outside dependence.
An independent read of whether an operation can do what an investment thesis or a strategy assumes it can, before capital is committed.
